We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming “Miles for Mammos” 5K race, set to take place on October 19, 2024, at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center in Jacksonville, NC. This annual event is not just about running or walking—it’s about making a difference in our community by supporting Julie’s Pink Warrior Project.

Julie’s Pink Warrior Project is dedicated to providing free screening mammograms to individuals in Onslow County who are underinsured or uninsured. With your participation in the “Miles for Mammos” race, you are directly contributing to this vital cause, ensuring that more people have access to life-saving breast cancer screenings.

Event Details

  • Date & Time: October 19, 2024, at 8:00 AM
  • Location: Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center, 100 Recreation Lane, Jacksonville, NC 28546
  • Race Options:
    • 5K Run/Walk: $30 until October 12, 2024; $35 from October 13 to 19, 2024
    • Kids 5 & Under: Free (no shirt/medal)
    • Virtual Run: $30 (includes medal)
    • Employee & Family Discount: $25 for the 5K

Race Packet Pick-Up

Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, October 18, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Onslow Memorial Hospital, located at 317 Western Blvd.
