We’re proud to share that Tom Giffin, Executive Director of the Onslow Memorial Hospital Foundation, was recently recognized by BNI Jacksonville in a special Member Spotlight.

As the non-profit seat holder for the chapter, Tom has been actively sharing the Foundation’s mission and expanding its reach throughout the region. Under his leadership over the past two years, the Foundation has seen remarkable growth and impact:

$40,000 in grants to support the Oncology Department

A generous $400,000 gift from Onslow Caregivers Inc. to enhance local hospice services

Funding to provide hands-only CPR training for area businesses, churches, and civic groups

A strategic partnership with Coastal Carolina Community College to address the local nursing shortage

Collaboration with the Salvation Army to combat food insecurity among patients

Distribution of infant car seats through the Department of Women and Children’s Services

Training for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners at the hospital

A prescription program for patients visiting the Emergency Department
